just some things throughout the month i especially and particularly enjoyedi've linked the ones that i could, enjoy xx
i started reading this after my 387392084th rewatch of the films, specifically after my rewatch of Breakig Dawn pt.2, which is one i dont run back quite that often. needless to say i needed, somehow, to experience these masterpieces for the first time again, after which i had the brilliant idea of reading the books. wow. i cant even begin to substantially articulate how capital G great the books are. dare i say even better than the films, unbelievably so.the characters are written a lot differently than we know them in the films that, after reading the book(s), you wonder how Stewart and Pattinson managed to bag the roles. not in a bad way, its just interesting how so very different they are, yet the core of the stories - which are the same story so idk - feel so similar still, and also somehow even more intense.
i missed out on band culture as a kid in the 2000s - save for one direction (rip liam) - so i'm really grateful people are still doing that.this band is comprised of FINNEAS (aka billie eilish's brother aka one of the best producers to ever do it aka the living legend) and ashe (whom i'm not as fond of save for Moral of the Story wowzie what a song), both solo artists and just so perfect together.
honestly, i just love her. which is so weird cause i usually get incredibly self-depracting when i see people live the life that i want (AllahummaBarik), but i dont ever feel that with her. i love watching her little life and hearing her talk and sometimes it feels like we're on facetime. i have, however, become aware of how odd parasocial relationships are and the influx of its normalization but i honestly dont even really care. god forbid i like to see people happy.
this one was a slow burn, specifically because i dont like slow rnb and i know her to be that kind of artist. but there was a rebrand and a vibe to this that you just HAVE to listen to.the entirety of this album is very much music i want to play at my wedding, i cant describe it any other way. what a woman.
this fawkin soooooooooooong!!!!again, BAND CULTURE. i think its appropriate to mention now that these bangers are made by two of the artists - maria, the lead singer and one of guitarists, i believe ? - who broke up a while ago. same people that wrote Sienna together. i cannot imagine what that must be like, i couldn't ever look the person i used to love (and still do!!) in the eye again.
